Recovering from Laser Hair Removal

For both laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal there generally is no recovery time. You can resume your normal activities immediately following treatment. The skin of the area treated may be pink or red for one day after treatment, but the redness will quickly subside and there is no lasting discomfort. For laser tattoo removal patients, the area treated for will be covered and should stay dry for 24 hours. To help the recovery process, the area should not be exposed to direct sunlight for one week.
